No more random photos.
No more wondering what to post. No more beautiful galleries filled with photos you'll never use. Just a clear plan for creating marketing photos your business will actually use—again and again.
But somehow...
So every time you need content, you're either...
The problem isn't your creativity.
It isn't your camera. (I use my phone even for may planned content shoots!)
It isn't your photographer. (Well, maybe it is.😂 TBD on that one)
You simply needed a better plan before the camera ever came out.
That's exactly why I created Plan Your Next Brand Shoot.
It's a simple planning system that helps you organize your ideas, build intentional shot lists, and walk into every photoshoot knowing exactly what photos your business actually needs (whether you're DIYing or hiring a pro!).
Because the goal isn't to take more photos.
It's to take the right ones.
The Secret Was Never the Camera.
After photographing businesses for more than a decade, I started noticing something surprising.
The clients who got the most value from their photoshoots weren't necessarily the ones with the biggest budgets.
They were simply the most prepared.
They were focused on an actual goal for the session. So, I started prompting all my clients to think through things prior to their session, like:
By the time we got to the photoshoot, every idea was already vetted and had a purpose. My clients didn't leave with galleries full of beautiful images copied from pinterest that sat on a hard drive. They left with custom photos they actually used.
Then, social media marketing became a thing. Suddenly, everyone needed to know how to take their own photos in order to keep up. Business owners started asking me questions beyond HOW to take great photos.
And that's when everything clicked.
The planning process I'd relied on for years as a professional photographer wasn't just helping create better photos. It was helping businesses create better marketing.
After teaching thousands of entrepreneurs online about brand aesthetic and photography, I started seeing the same pattern again and again. Even if they knew their aesthetic, or the basics of phone photography, they didn't know how to apply it.
- It wasn't their creativity holding them back.
- It wasn't their camera. (Hello awesome phone cameras!)
They simply didn't have a plan. A focus.
Without one, they were either not planning content shoots at all, or showing up to shoots hoping inspiration would strike, forgetting important shots, and ending up with galleries full of photos they would never really use. It made launches feel unneccisarily stressed, content feel inconsistent, and every new post meant creating photos from scratch again.
That's why I created Plan Your On-Brand Photos. It's the exact planning system I developed after years behind the camera—simplified into a process any business owner can follow.
Whether you're taking the photos yourself or working with a professional photographer, you'll know exactly what to capture before the camera ever comes out.

The course includes three short lessons designed to help you start planning quickly. You can move through the lessons in one sitting or complete each step as you prepare for your next shoot.
